Backpacker leaves Oz hospital

A BRITISH teenager who survived 12 days lost in the Australian Blue Mountains by eating plants has been discharged from hospital.

Jamie Neale, 19, was treated for dehydration and exposure.

The teenager got lost hiking in the mountains, 95km west of Sydney, on July 3.
