Man in coma after brawl

A BRITISH man was fighting for his life yesterday after he was thrown 25ft from a balcony during a brawl near his Spanish holiday home.

Stephen Mallon went to help his two teenage sons after they were confronted by a gang of youths outside La Estrella pub in Competa, near Malaga.

Mallon, a roofer from Bournemouth, Dorset, was attacked with bottles and flowerpots before he was thrown over the bar’s balcony, plunging 25ft.
