Fernando Torres secretly marries childhood sweetheart

FOOTBALLER Fernando Torres has secretly married his childhood sweetheart in a private ceremony with just two guests.

The Liverpool striker, 25, wed Olalla Dominguez, at 2pm on Wednesday in a town hall near Madrid.

The couple decided to tie the knot before Olalla, who is seven months pregnant, gives birth.

They were married in the pretty town of El Escorial, 55km north west of the Spanish capital.

Olalla, 23, wore a red maternity dress for the wedding.

Torres has become one of the world’s greatest strikers since signing for Liverpool for £20 million (about €23m) from Atletico Madrid in July 2007.

Nicknamed El Nino (The Kid), Torres helped Spain win the European championship last year.
