Missing Nepalese skier found in Paris thanks to Facebook campaign

A TEENAGE skier from the Nepalese national team who went missing while training in the Alps has been found wandering the streets of Paris thanks to a Facebook campaign, his team said yesterday.

“[He] has been discovered on the streets of Paris after members of the public recognised him from a Facebook campaign launched to find him,” the team said in a statement.

“The teenager had been living rough after walking several hundred kilometres across France surviving through the kindness of local people,” said the team secretary Ben Campbell.
