Woman remanded in custody over noisy lovemaking

Caroline Cartwright, 48, was remanded in custody until May 5 charged with three breaches of her Asbo in just 10 days.

The four-year order was imposed by magistrates in Sunderland on April 17 and prevented Cartwright “making excessive noise” anywhere in England. However, Houghton le Spring Magistrates Court heard police arrested her on April 18, on April 22 and again on April 26 after reports from neighbours she was flouting the ban with husband Steve. She was subsequently charged with three counts of breaching herAsbo by making excessive noise that can be heard by neighbours.
