HE HAS been appearing semi-clad on billboards for years, but now David Beckham is taking exposure to a new level in an advertising campaign that reveals not just his muscles, but also his ribs, veins and arteries.

The publicity shot for a new luxury mobile phone shows the AC Milan and England star with half of his ribcage and internal workings revealed, X-ray style.

State-of-the-art post-production techniques were used to create the effect, which leaves the 33-year-old looking like a character in a sci-fi film.
