Video of twin joeys in pouch

A US zookeeper’s efforts to earn a kangaroo’s trust have paid off with a video showing twin joeys inside their mother’s pouch.

The male Matschie’s tree kangaroo twins will emerge from the pouch this summer. Matschie’s are an endangered species.

Zookeeper DaviAnn Buggi at Lincoln Children’s Zoo in Nebraska attached a tiny camera to her finger, then gently reached inside the pouch of adult Milla.
