Identical twins separated for 28 years win pay-out

A PAIR of identical twins in Spain who were separated accidentally at birth and did not discover each other until they were aged 28 have been awarded compensation.

The unnamed pair only discovered the truth as adults after a chance meeting in a Gran Canaria shopping centre.

An eight-year legal battle ended yesterday with a Spanish court ordering health chiefs to award them damages.
