Probe after stalker blunder

AN independent investigation is under way into police blunders after it emerged that a man who was convicted of a series of sex attacks yesterday was not arrested until four years after he was made a suspect.

Children’s football coach Kirk Reid, 44, was found guilty of stalking and attacking 25 women over 12 years by a jury at Kingston Crown Court yesterday.

Reid admitted a further two indecent assaults.
