TERROR SUSPECT: Cleaner’s detention causes divisions

BINYAM Mohamed insists he is just a cleaner from London, but the US military has alleged he is a dangerous terrorist.

Although he is not British and is not being held by Britain, his case has been the subject of repeated legal challenges in Britain’s courts.

Now his detention appears to have exposed divisions between the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and US President Barack Obama’s new administration in Washington.
