Model faces up to worst nightmare in jungle trial

CLAUSTROPHOBIC glamour model Nicola McLean faced her worst nightmare in the jungle, braving rats, spiders, mealworms and cockroaches in a pitch black cave.

Before entering the so-called Cavern of Calamity for the latest Bushtucker Trial, the buxom blonde said: “I’m so petrified, I could cry. This show is turning me into a nervous wreck, I could honestly cry.”

The 25-year-old I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here... contender only managed to find three stars, meaning three meals out of a possible 12 for her fellow celebrities.

But she said she was “buzzing” because her failure meant madcap comedian Timmy Mallet and singer David Van Day would be going hungry.

On her way to the trial she said: “I’m petrified. I’m not busting my balls to feed two people that really rile me.”

Meanwhile Timmy won the latest Bush Battle, Up To Your Neck In It, by outlasting Nicola and presenter Robert Kilroy-Silk, 66, in a tank filling with cold gunk.

On return to camp Nicola complained how cold she was, asking former tennis champion Martina Navratilova, 52, to feel her boobs.

Martina said she would rather not but 68-year-old charity campaigner Esther Rantzen and 50-year-old former policeman Brian Paddick took turns.
