THE BBC has been thrown back into a storm of fresh controversy after it lost a second presenter in less than a month as a result of alleged abuse of the public.

Less than a month after Russell Brand resigned from his role as BBC Radio 2 presenter over the Andrew Sachs scandal, BBC Bristol presenter Sam Mason has seen her own contract terminated for alleged racist abuse.

The radio presenter was dismissed just six weeks into her weekday radio slot after she called a taxi firm in a private capacity while her show was on air to specifically request a non-Asian driver for her 14-year-old daughter.
