Sarah Bartholomew, 29, of Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, admitted sending a deluge of gifts, letters and emails to the award-winning comedian.

In one letter, she told Walliams: “I have to have you at any cost. I will kill or abduct you, to stop you seeing anyone else.”

Bartholomew was also issued with a restraining order banning her from making contact with the star when she appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court, in north London.

Bartholomew’s obsession began in 2004, shortly after she met the star at a showbusiness question-and-answer event.

She then began following him as he toured Britain, spending thousands of pounds.

The former veterinary nurse sent hundreds of sexually charged letters, including: “I’d rip off your pants in a sexual frenzy, you can have me however you want, I am ever so bendy.”
