Adman silences critics with divorce details

A MILLIONAIRE businessman has silenced critics branding him a “tight, ruthless bastard” by putting his divorce settlement on the internet.

Advertising executive Gary Dean, 47, said gossip and backbiting forced him to divulge his £3.7 million (€4.7m) payout after leaving wife, Helen, and their four children.

The couple, who lived in the village of St Michaels on the affluent Fylde coast in Lancashire, had been married 19 years. They divorced last year but gossips among the “chattering classes” in the area had since blackened his name.
