Surgeon died of heart problem

ONE of Britain’s leading plastic surgeons died from a heart condition, a post mortem examination has found.

Martin Kelly, 43, the husband of actress Natascha McElhone, was discovered collapsed in the doorway of his west London home on Tuesday night by a doctor friend.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said yesterday that a postmortem found Mr Kelly died from dilated cardiomyopathy — which leads the muscular walls of the heart to become dilated or stretched, causing the heart muscle to become weaker.
