Children’s presenter denies involvement in fiancée’s death

CHILDREN’S TV star Mark Speight yesterday insisted he had nothing to do with the death of his fiancée, Natasha Collins.

The BBC presenter, bailed by police on suspicion of murder and supplying class A drugs, said he was “absolutely distraught” by what had happened.

Ms Collins, also a TV presenter, was found in the bathroom of the penthouse home they shared in St John’s Wood, north-west London. Police said a suspected drug overdose was one line of inquiry.
