A TEACHER who visits an art gallery every weekend became the proud owner of a Damien Hirst sketch yesterday after winning it in a raffle that cost £1 (€1.38) to enter.

Mohammed Khan, 37, from Leeds, West Yorkshire, bought around 50 of the £1 tickets for the charity raffle to win the artwork, featuring a shark and a skull and crossbones drawn on the back of a catalogue.

The raffle attracted worldwide interest and raised money for Heart Research UK.
