Blackmail victim ‘not a senior royal’

THE target of an alleged blackmail plot against Britain’s royal family was not a senior figure, according to reports by the BBC.

An unidentified member of the royal family has been targeted in a sex and drugs blackmail attempt, the Sunday Times newspaper reported.

The BBC, however, understands the claims relate to a member of the family with a low public profile.
