FORMER Scotland football skipper Colin Hendry has revealed his wife is being treated in hospital after a recurrence of the illness that threatened her life five years ago.

Denise Hendry contracted a blood infection in 2002 during a liposuction procedure at a private clinic.She later won a six-figure settlement after taking legal action against her surgeon.

Clyde manager Hendry, 41, said yesterday he would be heading to Lancashire to be at his wife’s bedside.
