Courtney Love to produce Kurt Cobain biopic
The details are still in the early stages but Benioff will base his screenplay on the 2001 Charles Cross book Heavier than Heaven, comprised of Cobain’s journals and hundreds of interviews.
The grunge rock singer’s widow Courtney Love bought the film rights to Heavier than Heaven and has struck a deal with Universal to make a biopic of the same name. Love will be executive producer for the film, according to Variety magazine. There is speculation that she may even appear onscreen.
