Phew — £85,000 piano lands safely

An £85,000 grand piano was delivered to a countryside music festival yesterday.

Organisers of the Two Moors Festival in South Molton, Devon, had spent two years-worth of fundraising on a £45,000 Bosendorfer piano — but it was badly damaged when delivery workers dropped it.

Festival organiser Penny Adie was left without a showpiece instrument for the event, which starts on October 12.
