Firm has handled high profile cases

THE legal firm called on to provide assistance to the parents of missing Madeleine McCann in the UK is accustomed to high profile cases.

London-based Kingsley Napley lists rogue trader Nick Leeson and Chilean dictator General Augusto Pinochet among its past clients. Partners Michael Caplan QC and Angus McBride, who will advise the McCanns, have almost 50 years’ experience in criminal and international law between them.

Mr Caplan advises on areas including extradition and international law.
