‘Actor looked at child porn images to feel better’

ACTOR Chris Langham looked at pornographic images of children because they made him feel like a “better man”, a jury heard yesterday.

The woman he is accused of indecently assaulting told Maidstone Crown Court the actor told her this during a tearful telephone conversation following his arrest on suspicion of downloading child pornography in November 2005.

The 25-year-old woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, said: “He said he was basically not looking at the children but at the people who were hurting them, he was looking into their eyes because it made him feel like a better man.”
