Clothing could measure health

CLOTHING that can test its wearer’s health is being developed by a consortium of European scientists.

The “intelligent textiles” will be embedded with sensors capable of monitoring body fluids such as blood and sweat.

Experts hope they can be used to measure the health of athletes, recovering hospital patients, and individuals working in extreme conditions.
