Skateboarding set for Olympics debut

SKATEBOARDING could make its Olympic debut at the London 2012 Olympics, it was disclosed yesterday.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has held talks with skateboard officials in Switzerland to agree a timetable for the sport’s inclusion.

A spokeswoman for the IOC said it was possible the sport could be included in the 2012 Games.
