Man shoots three dead in New York

A GUNMAN killed his mother, her boyfriend and a home health care worker before shooting himself.

The mother called New York police just before noon yesterday, saying “something terrible was going to happen”, said Assistant Chief Michael Collins.

When officers arrived moments later, they discovered the bodies at the two-storey house in the city’s Queens borough.
