MOST men no longer expect to be the main breadwinner, but would rather share the role with their partner, according to a leading men’s magazine.

Over 70% say they would prefer a “50-50” role with their other half, sharing work, childcare and housework.

Only 29% of men said they would still like to have the more traditional role of breadwinner, the magazine’s 2007 male lifestyle survey, found.
