Drug hope: Pfizer happy with trials

DRUG company Pfizer has announced a new hope for HIV patients whose treatment no longer works.

Pfizer’s latest HIV drug, maraviroc, doubles the number of people with undetectable levels of HIV compared to the current treatments.

The company revealed half-year results of two advanced trials of maraviroc on patients for whom treatment no longer works.
