Suicide attack films ‘found in bomb lab’, court told
Police discovered extremist literature, videos and tape recordings at the flat — including speeches by the al Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and the radical Islamic preacher Abu Hamza, it was alleged.
They also found newspaper cuttings about the day of July 21, 2005, itself — including a copy of the Evening Standard from that day headlined: “New Tube and bus bombings” and a copy of the next day’s Sun, headlined: “Four suicide bombers on loose”.
