Washington’s TV career ‘critical’ after gay hate slur

GREY’S Anatomy star Isaiah Washington has accepted he needs help after “marring” his castmates’ night at the Golden Globe Awards by using the word “faggot”.

The actor grabbed the microphone in the press room, after picking up the Best TV Drama prize with his co-stars, and tried to address reports about his use of the word on set.

Last October’s fight started after Mr Washington called gay co-star, TR Knight, a “faggot,” with Mr Knight coming clean about his sexuality after the incident.
