Meet Maria, the world’s oldest mother of newborns at 67

MEET the oldest mother of newborns in the world — Maria Del Carmen Bousada De Lara.

The Spanish woman slipped out of Barcelona’s San Pau hospital with her twins, a hospital spokesman said. Local media said she had avoided the press probably because she had sold her story exclusively to a particular newspaper or magazine.

She gave birth by Caesarean section on December 29. The hospital spokesman said she and the babies, believed to be boys, were all well.
