Scientist had 500,000 images of children

A BRITISH astrophysicist is facing a lengthy jail term after admitting possessing half-a-million indecent images of children.

Robin Phillips, 33, has also pleaded guilty to two counts of taking indecent images of children and one of attempting to take an indecent image.

The father of two was trapped by plain-clothed police officers in Londons ’Trafalgar Square, on August 27 as he took indecent images of young girls.
