Motor fuel technique ‘recycles greenhouse gases’

A NEW technique may allow greenhouse gas produced by burning fossil fuels to be recycled back into petrol or diesel, it was claimed yesterday.

Italian scientists convert carbon dioxide into hydrocarbons, which can then be refined into motor fuels.

The researchers expect an efficient system to be available within a decade.
