Maddox does Jolie good as big bro

ANGELINA JOLIE’S adopted son Maddox has apparently taken to his role as big brother to his mum and Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh like a duck to water.

Jolie’s brother James Haven told People magazine the four-year-old “imitated the way Brad held her just perfectly”.

Mr Haven said he was overwhelmed when he first saw the couple together with the newborn in Swakopmund, Namibia.

“To see the father, mother, daughter — it was such a beautiful image that it overtook me,” he told the magazine.

Jolie’s mother, the French-born actress Marcheline Bertrand, has shared her delight over Shiloh’s birth.

“My heart is overflowing with joy,” she said.

“Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh are deeply-loved children. They have very kind and caring parents who love and support each other in every way.”

Pictures of the tiny tot and her parents published in Britain by Hello! and People in the US show she has her mother’s famous pouty lips.

Shiloh, born almost two weeks ago, has already attended her first social event — a quiet celebration for her mother’s 31st birthday at the Burning Shore Lodge where the family has been living for the past two months.

Guests included Cambodian-born Maddox, and Jolie’s other adopted child, 17-month-old Ethiopian-born Zahara, plus a few close friends and relatives.

Yesterday the couple, who said they had no plans to marry, revealed they were soon to leave Namibia.

Pitt will go back to work, starting filming of Ocean’s Thirteen next month.
