NEW mum Katie Holmes has made a surprise appearance to publicise fiance Tom Cruise’s new film, just 16 days after the birth of their baby daughter.

The actress attended a special fan screening of Mission: Impossible III in Los Angeles — the first time she had ventured out in public since daughter Suri was born.

And she looked in remarkable shape for a new mum — albeit a little tired.
