Farrell joins ranks of world's most beautiful people
The star of Intermission and Minority Report joins fellow Irish actor Daniel Day-Lewis on the list compiled by People magazine.
The magazine will name Friends star Jennifer Aniston as its most beautiful person in its annual roll call of 50 of the world's most good looking stars.
People West Coast bureau chief Julie Jordan said Aniston was selected because of her "approachable beauty."
"She has that rare quality in Hollywood. Men swoon, and women still love her," Jordan said.
Jordan said Aniston had been featured in the People list three other times, but today's issue would be her first cover appearance.
Couples rule the magazine's list, with Aniston and her husband, actor Brad Pitt, among them.
Aniston told the magazine she hasn't always felt beautiful.
"I was an unfortunate looking teenager," Aniston she said in an interview. "I never felt beautiful, ever."
She also said she and Pitt are "absolutely in the process" of trying to have a baby, which includes taking folic acid and setting aside a room in their new house for a possible nursery.
Ubiquitous husband-and-wife pop and reality TV stars Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey also made the list.
So did twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who co-star in the upcoming movie, New York Minute.
Another set of sisters models Alexandra and Theodora Richards, the daughters of Rolling Stone Keith Richards also made the list.
Halle Berry is among the magazine's beauties for the eighth time, tying with Julia Roberts for the most appearances.
"I think she's gone through a lot, and because of that, people really appreciate her," Jordan said. "And look at her, she's amazing."
Nicole Kidman makes her sixth appearance, and fellow Aussie and X-Men star Hugh Jackman is on the list for the fourth year in a row.
Other celebrities on the list include actresses Cameron Diaz and Catherine Zeta Jones, actor Jude Law and singers Beyonce Knowles and André 3000 from Outkast.
