Lottery winner admits criminal damage

A FORMER dustman who won a €14.6 million National Lottery jackpot in Britain three years ago was made the subject of an anti social behaviour order (Asbo) by magistrates yesterday after admitting criminal damage.

Michael Carroll, 22, of Downham Market, Norfolk, was told that the order would run for two years when he appeared in court in Kings Lynn.

Magistrates were told that Carroll had caused more than €4,500 damage by firing ball bearings from a catapult at cars and windows.
