Yvonne’s search
The appeal reads: "Have you seen this man?
"Please help us find our friend who is missing following yesterday's bombings.
"These pictures were taken Wednesday night and he will have been wearing the same clothes.
"He is 30 years old and has medium-length brown hair and is 5ft 11. He has a red tattoo on his left shoulder."
His girlfriend Yvonne Nash said she feared the 30-year-old city worker was on the bus which was ripped apart by the explosion in Tavistock Square.
Ms Nash, 30, said her boyfriend had phoned work at 9.42am yesterday to say he was on a bus from Euston to King's Cross just five minutes before the blast.
He has not been heard from since and has not returned any calls or texts to his mobile phone, she said.
Ms Nash said she had logged his details with the police casualty bureau and had been frantically telephoning hospitals all night, but had found nothing.
She said Mr Gordon, who works for City Assets Management, would not normally have taken that route to work, but had stayed at a friend's house the previous evening following a night out. "I just have to find him," she said. "I have to know what happened. You cannot sleep, cannot eat when you are that worried about somebody," she said.
"We don't know where he is and we are just desperate to find out.
"Is he dead? Is he alive? Not knowing is dreadful."
