Centre condemns thieves for picking up penguin

The female bird named Piglet, which was taken from the Scarborough Sea Life Centre on Sunday night, was found in an overgrown garden in Barrowcliff, Scarborough, yesterday after residents heard its cries and contacted staff at the centre.

Piglet, an endangered Humboldt penguin, must take antibiotics as the trauma may have damaged her immune system and that of partner, George.
