Biggs unwell
The 75-year-old was taken from Belmarsh jail to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Greenwich, south-east London.
According to his son Michael, the train robber is unable to speak or walk unaided and his health is deteriorating. He is being fed by a tube through his stomach, and is understood to have been passing blood.
