37 dead in bus tragedy

A BUS carrying a wedding party fell into a mountain gorge in northern India yesterday, killing 37 people and injuring 20 others.

The vehicle swerved to avoid another bus coming from the opposite direction, and plunged 150 feet into the gorge in Uttranchal Pradesh.
