Freak gunshot kills baby

A 19-YEAR-OLD man in northern Quebec was charged with manslaughter after his baby sister died from a freak gunshot, police said.

The teenager in Salluit on the Hudson Strait, 2,000 miles north of Montreal, was arguing with someone over the phone when he picked up a .22 calibre rifle and fired several shots, police said.
