BBC strike set for May 23

BBC radio and television programmes face disruption in the next few weeks because of a series of strikes by journalists and technicians in protest at job cuts.

Members of three trade unions will walkout for 24 hours on May 23, for 48 hours on May 31 and June 1 and for 24 hours in the following week.
