Spaced out: millionaire arrives at station

A RUSSIAN spacecraft docked flawlessly and ahead of schedule at the International Space Station (ISS) yesterday, delivering an American space traveller and a new two-man Russian-American crew.

Applause erupted from the family of US millionaire scientist Gregory Olsen at Russian Mission Control in Korolyov, outside Moscow, when the Soyuz capsule's docking was announced about 5 minutes before the 9.32am (6.32am Irish time) target.

When Mr Olsen's daughter, Krista, was asked how her father felt, she said: "He's never felt better. He actually talked to the doctor and said he felt excellent.
