Nepal blast kills boy

A BOMB exploded in a busy market in southern Nepal, killing a 12-year-old boy and wounding six others, including three policemen.

The boy was on a motorcycle with his father when the bomb, apparently targeting a passing police van, exploded in Narayanghat, about 100 miles south of Kathmandu. Police said they suspected Maoist rebels were to blame.
