Frustrated Dutch set to follow French example

DUTCH voters look certain to follow the French in rejecting Europe’s constitutional treaty this week.

If anything, the "no" faction in the Netherlands is stronger even than in France and just as difficult to categorise.

The French "no" brought together far-left and far-right factions, plus mainstream voters protesting about high unemployment and fears about the vastly-enlarged EU.
