THE English High Court yesterday maintained an injunction banning the solicitation of information about the proposed new identity and whereabouts of Maxine Carr.

Mr Justice Eady made the order pending a full two-day hearing as soon as possible after June 8.

He said there was "clear evidence of danger to the life and physical well-being" of Carr in the light of death threats which meant that she had been advised to wear bullet-proof clothing.
