Experts closer to blocking HIV without condoms

RESEARCHERS in Britain and the US could be a step closer to developing a new way of stopping the transmission of HIV without using condoms.

The scientists have discovered a microbicide, a chemical that kills microorganisms.

It can block the spread of the virus which can lead to AIDS.
