Kylie laughs off marriage rumour
The Australian singer has just spent a week away with model James Gooding, who dated the former star of TV soap Neighbours for years before announcing they had split earlier this year.
But a spokesman for the star denied reports they had revived their relationship by tying the knot in a ceremony on the Indonesian island of Bali.
He said: “They haven’t got married and they haven’t exchanged any vows in a Balinese ceremony.”
The couple are said to be “enjoying each other’s company” after Gooding flew out to be with her following the end of her Australian tour.
She heads for New York this week, where she is to present the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday night.
Irish MTV viewers will get their chance to see the show repeated on Friday.
The tiny singer has found renewed chart success and popularity with male fans after relaunching her music career.
The extent of that revival was highlighted by a wax replica being installed at Madame Tussaud’s famous museum in London.
However, curators had to replace the model’s risque outfit because so many fans wanted a touch.
As well as her musical success, Minogue is taking an interest in the fashion industry with her LK range.
She is also working on a new book for the Christmas market, but insists it will not be an in-depth autobiography.
