Bombing suspect fights extradition from Italy

LAWYERS for London bomb suspect Hussain Osman, 27, challenged his extradition to Britain yesterday.

Antonietta Sonnessa said she had lodged appeal papers with Italy’s Supreme Court, which will rule within 15 days.

The suspect in the failed July 21 London bombings, arrested in Rome, said he feared “heightened tension” in Britain might affect legal proceedings against him.
